Refund and Cancellation Policy for India Chapter Events
1. Registration and Payments
- Please note that Annual Membership Fees for India Chapter (made through this website) and ACFE Global (made through ACFE USA website) are non-refundable.
- For ACFE India Chapter Events: All registrations must be completed through the official ACFE India Chapter website or authorized platforms. Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a spot.
2. Cancellation Requests
- Participants may request cancellations in writing via email to bharat@gmail.com or contact@acfe-india.org with the subject line “Event Cancellation Request”
- Cancellation requests must include the participant’s name, event details, and registration confirmation number.
3. Refund Terms
- Early Cancellations (14+ days before the event): Full refunds will be provided minus a processing fee of 10%.
- Standard Cancellations (7-14 days before the event): 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
- Late Cancellations (less than 7 days before the event): No refunds will be provided; however, substitutions are permitted upon request.
- No-Shows: Registrants who do not attend the event and fail to cancel in advance will not receive a refund.
4. Event Changes or Cancellations by ACFE
- In the event that the ACFE India Chapter needs to cancel or reschedule an event, registered participants will be notified promptly, and options for a full refund or transfer to a future event will be provided.
5. Force Majeure
- The ACFE India Chapter is not liable for cancellations or refunds due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen incidents. In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule or provide alternative solutions.
6. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation, and will be issued to the original payment method.
